Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maria Gabriel will lead the Bulgarian government delegation to the second session of the Strategic Dialogue between Bulgaria and the United States, during which a Memorandum on countering foreign manipulation of information will be signed. This is reported by Radio Bulgaria.
Radio Bulgaria reports that the talks will also discuss issues such as support for Ukraine, countering disinformation, the rule of law, deepening cooperation in the economy, energy, defence and expanding bilateral ties. According to the radio station, “the Bulgaria-US strategic dialogue is a forum for consultations and discussion of cooperation on global, regional and bilateral issues of mutual interest.”
“Within the framework of the visit will be signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two states in countering foreign manipulation of information”, – reports Radio Bulgaria.
Recall, earlier Bulgarian Defence Minister Todor Tagarev said that a military base for the deployment of a multinational combat group of NATO will be built in the country.
