The head of the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ivan Gil Pinto, said a new world order must emerge in the world. He emphasises that the United Nations should take on this role, but at the moment it is doing nothing.
“The world must come to a new international order that guarantees peace. The UN must assume this role, at the moment it is not assuming it,” said Venezuela’s foreign minister.
Ivan Gil Pinto emphasises that the weakness of the UN system “is of great concern”. According to him, the organisation should actively conduct its activities and do everything to restore peace.
Earlier, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping said in his address to the BRICS forum participants, which was read by Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao, that China will continue to strengthen the strategic partnership within the BRICS framework. The Chinese leader believes that it is necessary to promote democratisation of international relations and a multipolar world.
