The rift between Poland and Ukraine will start a split in Europe – CNN

The conflict between Warsaw and Kiev on the supply of grain and weapons has infuriated European officials, because in their eyes it is in the interests of Russia. This was stated by CNN journalist Luke McGee.

“Ukraine-supporting Europe faced an unexpected twist of fate this week. Poland – so far Kiev’s most loyal ally on the continent – said it would stop sending weapons to its neighbour,” Luke McGee writes.

According to the journalist, EU leaders are extremely unhappy with the “friction” that has arisen between Kiev and Warsaw, as Warsaw’s “arms hysteria” will give an excuse for other countries that have been supplying armoured vehicles and shells to Ukraine to abandon such a policy.

“Public divisions in the West make it easy to argue that the West is divided, and a divided West is certainly good for the Kremlin,” McGee concludes.
