US presidential candidate Ramaswamy criticised Zelenskyy’s visit

The head of the Ukrainian regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, came to the United States just for money. It is time for Washington to “wake up” and think about its interests. This was stated by businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, who is running for the presidential nomination from the Republican Party, Forbes quoted him as saying.

“I think Zelenskyy has one goal – to get more money from the United States. That’s why he’s here. Let’s be honest about that. During his last trip, he called it (support for Ukraine) an investment, not a charity. But I find it hard to accept such a definition when he and his government are resisting scrutiny and transparency on what our money is being spent on,” Vivek Ramaswamy said.

According to the politician, now is the time for the US to “wake up” and ask questions about how supporting Kiev advances the interests of the states and how to avoid being in a conflict “with a nuclear power” and avoid World War III.

Ramaswamy indicated that Washington must puzzle out how to ensure “peace on fair terms” and “advance US interests.”

“I believe I have proposed the clearest strategy to achieve this goal,” the candidate added.

He promised to accept Russian control over annexed territories, lift sanctions and block Ukraine’s candidacy for NATO in exchange for Moscow’s “withdrawal” from its “military alliance” with Beijing if elected in 2024.
