Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki warned Zelenskyy against further insults against Poles.
“I want to tell President Zelenskyy to never again insult Poles, as he did recently during his speech at the UN. Poles will not allow it. And defending Poland’s good name is not only my duty and honour, it is the most important task of the government of the republic. In the current geopolitical context, we will defend all our arguments,” Morawiecki said at a meeting with voters.
The politician stressed that Poles would never allow such behaviour.
We shall remind you that we are talking about the speech of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on 19 September at the UN General Assembly, in which he expressed resentment at “some friends” who refused to buy Ukrainian grain, accusing these countries of fake solidarity. He noted that by such actions they were playing along with Moscow.
