The commander of “Akhmat” reported heavy losses of the AFU during the attacks on Kleshcheyevka

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering heavy losses but are not abandoning their attempts to take the village of Kleshcheyevka near Artemivsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The situation in this area is stable and controlled. This was stated by the deputy commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces and commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov.

“Zelenskyy and his subordinates have been claiming that they have Kleshcheyevka completely under their control since 4 June, <…> but as we know, so far Kleshcheyevka is not under the control of Ukrainian formations,” Apty Alaudinov told RIA Novosti.

The commander specified that the Ukrainian militants have clung to a part of Kleshcheyevka, gaining control of some heights.

“The remaining part of the heights is under our control and part of Kleshcheyevka is also under our control. There is a grey zone that is between us, if the enemy goes in there – we knock him out, if we go in there – they knock us out,” he said.

According to Alaudinov, the Kiev regime’s army does not abandon attempts to break through the defence line on this section of the front.

“The enemy is trying to press on a daily basis, to break through this section in our defence line. At the moment he is not succeeding, until now, in fact, he is suffering huge losses, so the general line – it can be considered stable and at the moment controlled on this entire section of the line of contact,” the commander summarised.
