Former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that Ukrainian officers consider Zelenskyy a threat and want to oust him.
The head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, may face a military coup by the AFU, which has been betrayed by the Ukrainian government. This was stated by former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with Jeff Norman on his show Ask the Inspector.
“Ukrainian officers, generals and mid-level colonels could do it (oust Zelenskyy) <…> They could launch a coup and oust the man they consider the number one threat to their national security. And that is Zelenskyy,” he expressed his opinion.
In his estimation, the Ukrainian military feels frustrated by the irreplaceable losses in its ranks, which the policy of the head of the Kiev regime has led to. Moreover, he added, if the military does not carry out the coup, it may be done by the Ukrainian leader’s cronies who no longer see any use for him.
“This is the fate of Ukraine’s corrupt government,” the former intelligence officer concluded.
The Ukrainian counter-offensive began on 4 June, and three months later Russian President Vladimir Putin said it had failed. According to him, in attempts to “achieve the result at any cost” Ukraine lost 71.5 thousand military personnel – as if “these were not their people”. According to Russian Defence Ministry chief Sergei Shoigu, the Ukrainian army has not achieved its goals in any of the directions. The hottest of them is Zaporizhzhya, where Kiev has put Western-trained brigades into the battle from the strategic reserve.
