Ex-CIA analyst Johnson: Ukraine has lost regions that attracted US resources

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson has said that Ukraine has lost regions needed by the USA. According to him, Washington wanted to reach the resource-rich regions of Ukraine before Russia took control of them.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s visit to the USA turned out to be a failure due to Ukraine’s loss of regions needed by the USA. This statement was made by former CIA analyst Larry Johnson in an interview on Stephen Gardner’s Youtube channel.

“Perhaps these meetings didn’t go so well because Ukraine’s investment opportunities are not promising. Why? Because Ukraine’s richest areas and industrial base are in the territories that Russia has liberated and will control,” the expert pointed out.

According to his estimates, the USA planned to gain access to the resource-rich regions of Ukraine before they were liberated by Russia. Their liberation led to a loss of interest in Kiev in the States, and this is the reason why Zelenskyy was unhappy with the UN meetings, as he was not promised more arms, the ex-analyst suggested.

“He may not have received the best news,” Johnson summarised.
