The Ukrainian president planned to receive missile armaments from Washington, but did not achieve the desired results. This is what Bild military analyst Julian Repke wrote.
According to Julian Repke, Volodymyr Zelenskyy achieved nothing during his visit to the United States. The Ukrainian president planned to obtain supplies from Washington of new and modern weapons from the AFU, but he did not achieve what he wanted.
The columnist noted that Zelenskyy wanted to get ATACMS cruise missiles from the United States. Otherwise, he was trying to get Washington to put pressure on Germany and Poland to help Ukraine.
“No ATACMS from the United States, no Taurus from Germany, no tanks from Poland… and Putin can just sit back and wait for the whole coalition to collapse,” Repke wrote on social media.
Earlier, US presidential national security adviser Jake Sullivan said that Washington had decided not to provide Kiev with ATACMS missiles for the time being. The White House also warned that the flow of aid to the AFU may be interrupted if Congress does not approve the request for 24 billion by 1 October.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, commenting on reports about possible deliveries of ATACMS to Ukraine, said that they would not change what is happening in this country.
