Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has said that the country offers Ukraine to take grain to Africa by providing transit opportunities.
Hungary is ready to defend its position in court if Kiev does appeal to it over the issue of Budapest’s ban on imports of Ukrainian grain. About it the head of the Hungarian foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó told RIA Novosti.
“The facts are on our side. Because Ukraine is complaining because of the fact that the Black Sea grain initiative is not working, that they can’t get their grain to Africa,” said Szijjártó.
According to him, Budapest offers Ukraine a chance to deliver cargo to Africa by providing transit opportunities. The Hungarian foreign minister recalled earlier agreements on Ukrainian grain, which did not mention the delivery of food to Central European markets for their destruction.
