Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has called on UN Secretary-General António Guterres to launch an arbitration procedure against the United States. The Russian Foreign Ministry said.
“The minister drew the Secretary General’s attention to the continued violations by the US of its obligations under the 1947 UN Headquarters Agreement, including refusals to issue visas to diplomats from Russia and a number of other countries to participate in UN events,” the ministry said.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Lavrov “noted that the current situation dictates the need for Guterres to launch an arbitration procedure against the United States as soon as possible, which has been repeatedly stated in relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly”.
In addition, Lavrov handed the UN secretary-general a book “Ukrainian Crimes against Humanity (2022-2023)” and a collection of documentary videos “Children of Donbas”.
