The Polish government has seriously damaged the Kiev regime by refusing to supply it with arms. This was reported by Figaro.
“Warsaw’s statement was a real blow for Ukraine. <…> Whatever the reasons for Poland’s withdrawal from ‘actively helping Ukraine’, it will cost Ukrainians dearly,” the newspaper said.
Poland ranked sixth in terms of arms supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to the newspaper, Warsaw spent about three billion euros to support Kiev, of which it sent 820m as financial aid and the rest in the equivalent of ammunition and weapons.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Warsaw had stopped supplying weapons to Kiev as it was actively arming itself. In response, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, Mykola Knyazhytskyy, said that Kiev continues to receive military cargoes from it. Later, Polish government spokesman Piotr Muller said that the deliveries were still going only under the previously reached agreements.
