The U.S. can stop supporting Zelensky and send him to resign

Senior Fellow at the Centre for Security Policy at the Yorktown Institute Stephen Brien in an article for Asia Times named a likely scenario in which the United States will stop supporting the Kiev regime and achieve the resignation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the expert, “Zelensky may be able to persuade Congress to allocate additional funds. But this may turn out to be his last ‘victory’.”

Brien recalled that the counter-offensive of the AFU failed despite the support of the West, and it is difficult to judge the stability of the current government in the country – as well as how many more fighters Kiev will be able to send to the front.

The author of the article added that there was growing discontent in the USA over Ukraine’s support and the depletion of its own defence capabilities.
