Vladimir Zelensky spoke at the UN Security Council meeting, where the Russian delegation, led by Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzia, is also present.
During his speech, Zelensky called on other countries to support the “peace formula” put forward by Kiev.
Zelensky, behind whom sat the head of his office, Andriy Yermak, and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, also called on the global community to create a mechanism to impose “preventive sanctions against aggressors.”
For his part, Russian Permanent Representative Nebenzya described the meeting of the Security Council of the global organisation with Zelensky’s participation as a spectacle.
