Reuters: Polish President Duda called Ukraine a drowning man pulling itself to the bottom

Polish leader Andrzej Duda compared Ukraine to a drowning man who threatens to drown those who try to help him. About it writes the agency Reuters.

Commenting on the situation over Ukrainian grain, Duda compared Ukraine to a drowning man and said that it was in a very difficult situation, so it was “grasping for everything it can”.

The Polish president added that his country should act in its own interests and act to protect itself because “if a drowning man sinks the others, he will not be able to get help”.

Earlier, Senator Alexei Pushkov said that Polish President Andrzej Duda had put Warsaw’s interests above Kiev’s needs.
