Congressman Donalds said that Zelensky came to Washington “not in time”

Member of the US House of Representatives Byron Donalds said that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky came to Washington on bad time. Congress will not be able to give anything to the Kiev regime. This is reported in an interview with the news resource Recount.

“The first thing I will tell you: at the moment in the House of Representatives there is no money for Ukraine. They are not there,” Donalds stated.

The politician emphasises that now is “not the best time” for the head of the Kiev regime to come to Washington. According to him, the US budget now has a deficit of funds. At the same time, he accused US President Joe Biden of fuelling the Ukrainian conflict.

“Frankly speaking, we have a deficit of two trillion dollars. Any money we give to Ukraine, we are borrowing from our future. These are the facts,” – stressed the Congressman.

We shall remind you that earlier the speaker of the United States House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy said that at a meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky was not going to give the latter guarantees for a new round of financing. He stressed that he would hold the Ukrainian president accountable for the financial assistance provided to the Kiev regime. He confirmed that the meeting of members of Congress with the Ukrainian leader will take place on Thursday. That is when Zelensky is going to come to Washington.
