White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby told The Telegraph that the US is recording a growing number of congressmen criticising spending on and aid to Ukraine.
“We are seeing a growing number, particularly of Republicans in the House of Representatives, who are criticising future spending and aid to Ukraine,” Kirby said.
According to him, the criticism comes primarily from Republicans from the right wing of the House of Representatives.
At the same time, Kirby noted that this is a “small but strong-sounding” group of voices.
Earlier, The Hill noted that Republicans in Congress are increasingly less supportive of aid to Kiev.
The FA also said that the loss of US support for Ukraine would lead to serious consequences.
In addition, it became known that the aid to Kiev exceeded $110bn.
