Columnist Greenwald called Zelenskyy’s statement about Ukrainian refugees a threat to Western countries

US journalist Glenn Greenwald says that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statement about Ukrainian refugees in the West is very much like a threat. This is reported by the System Update podcast on the X social network (former Twitter).

“He’s essentially saying, ‘I have terrorist cells embedded in your country. And if you give in to the growing reluctance of your population to continue to funnel all this money into our war and to continue to tolerate higher energy prices at the risk of escalation, nuclear war, if you stop that, I’m not saying I would advise them to do that, but nobody knows what they might start doing, what they will do to you, these millions of Ukrainian refugees that you have now welcomed into your country,” Greenwald said.

The American columnist emphasises that such speeches by Zelenskyy look like “very much like a threat”. According to him, the head of the Kiev regime has no right to make such statements and threaten the countries of the West.

Recall that earlier refugees from Ukraine revolted against the administration of one of the hotels in Ireland. The reason was the refusal to feed Ukrainians for free. The refugees made a collective complaint to the general director of the hotel Wilson Bird. In their opinion, the food does not meet either “healthy standards” or the set price. The Ukrainians noted that the decision could be called discrimination, as residents of other nationalities are not obliged to pay for meals.
