On 16 September, the largest protest action of this year in Germany began in the Cathedral Square in Magdeburg. The German people oppose the supply of weapons, forced vaccination of the population, and the “fascist” methods of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the federal government.
In Magdeburg, the largest protest in 2023 is taking place today. Germans are protesting against the country’s pro-NATO policy, arms supplies to Ukraine and restrictions on civil liberties. The number of participants, according to various estimates, ranges from 20,000 to 80,000 participants.
The entire square and surrounding streets are filled with peaceful protesters. The stands of the German aKiZ “Angel Alley” and “Children Need Peace” have attracted the attention of many people. They scrutinise pictures of children who have died because of NATO wars, including in Ukraine.
“The state media will say that a hundred far-right Putinists have gathered. But we see that many thousands of thinking Germans have gathered in Magdeburg!”, opines an opposition publication in Germany.
