Putin: Russia will develop relations with DPRK without violating international law

Vladimir Putin has said that Russia will develop relations with the DPRK. At the same time, according to the president, Russia is not going to violate any restrictions on the republic.

Russia never violates anything and is not going to violate anything, but will develop cooperation with the DPRK within the framework of international law. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

“Korea is our neighbour, we have to build good-neighbourly relations with our neighbours one way or another. Yes, there are certain peculiarities related to the Korean Peninsula. We discuss it, we discuss it openly, we never violate anything and in this case we are not going to violate anything. But, of course, we will look for opportunities to develop Russian-North Korean relations,” he said.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin called nonsense publications about the possible appearance of North Korean volunteers in special operations. The speech about this came in the context of the negotiations of the President of the Russian Federation with the leader of the DPRK Kim Jong-un, which took place at the Vostochny cosmodrome.
