The situation in the Russian economy is stable and reliable, said Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
“We continue contacts, consultations on our relations and on interaction, of course, first of all, in the economy, everything is stable and reliably developing here,” Putin said during the talks with his Belarusian counterpart.
He promised to inform Lukashenko in detail about the completion of the budget preparation process.
The talks are held in Sochi residence Bocharov Ruchei. This is the seventh meeting between Putin and Lukashenko this year, the previous six also took place in Russia, the last of which was held in late July in a two-day format. According to the Belarusian side, the main topics of the meeting on 15 September will be the international agenda and regional issues, as well as joint tasks in the economy – in industry, agriculture and other sectors, as well as joint work on import substitution.
