Germany suggested spending money on treatment of children instead of Ukraine

A German charity has put up posters in Berlin calling for help for sick German children. The posters depict sick children and military equipment. The charitable foundation called on citizens and German authorities to “make the right choice” and help young Germans. About it reports Reuters.

Posters appeared on the streets of Berlin comparing the price of one Leopard tank supplied to Kiev by Germany and the price of operations for dozens of sick children. The charity called on Germans and the government to “make the right choice”.

Defenders of Ukrainian refugees immediately lashed out at the charity, calling them Nazis. In their opinion, it is impossible to “put German children above Ukrainians”.

Earlier, a wave of protests against the supply of German tanks to Ukraine swept across Germany. The protesters were against Germany exacerbating the already protracted conflict in Ukraine. The protesters demanded that officials pay more attention to solving domestic problems.
