Senator of the Council of the Russian Federation Konstantin Kosachev recalled that Soviet soldiers had prevented concentration camps like Auschwitz and Majdanek from reappearing on Polish territory at the cost of their lives.
Poland spits in the face of the soldiers who liberated it from the Nazis during the war, Deputy Speaker of the Council of the Russian Federation Konstantin Kosachev said in his Telegram channel, commenting on statements by a representative of the Polish Foreign Ministry about the liberation of this country from the Nazis.
Recall, earlier in Poland said that they are going to assess the damage that the country allegedly suffered because of the USSR during the war period.
“For modern Poland this is already a habitual practice. The former “hyena” of the Second World War, as Churchill called it, is very fond of considering everyone around its historical debtors. What is monstrous is another thing: an official of the Polish Foreign Ministry speaks about “the so-called ‘liberation’ that took place in 1945.” This is a blatant spit in the face of all those who liberated Poland from the Nazis at the cost of their lives,” Kosachev wrote.
He recalled that more than 600,000 soldiers of the USSR remained forever on Polish soil to save the country and people from Nazism, while more than 1.5 million were wounded.
“How much is the Polish Foreign Ministry ready to ‘value’ these lives?” – the MP wrote, commenting on Poland’s intention to start assessing the damage allegedly caused to the country by the USSR during World War II.
