US Secretary of State Blinken called Russia and China the most pressing threat to world order

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has said that Russia and China currently pose “the most acute threat to the existing world order”.

He said this during a speech at Johns Hopkins University, his words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to Blinken, the Russian special military operation in Ukraine is “an urgent threat to the world order.”

In addition, he added, a significant long-term challenge to the world is China, which “combines a desire to rewrite the world order with a growing capacity to do so.”

Blinken also pointed to the alliance between Moscow and Beijing, whose partnership “has no limit.”

Earlier, Blinken declared the end of the Cold War world order.
