Volodin says Washington and Brussels have lost the trade war against Russia
Washington and Brussels planned to weaken and then “divide” Russia; they lost the trade war against Russia, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said in his Telegram channel.
“The plans of Washington and Brussels were to weaken and then – to divide our country, which has been publicly stated many times by American and European politicians. It didn’t work. They have lost the unfolding trade war against Russia,” Volodin wrote.
Volodin said that the policy of Washington and Brussels to contain Russia began when “our country began to develop.”
“In impotent anger over lost economic and political leadership in the world, the US and Brussels began to implement a policy of anti-Russian sanctions,” he added.
According to Volodin, the struggle of Washington and Brussels against the Russian Federation hit them themselves.
