Dutch human rights activist, founder of the human rights organisation Hague Peace Projects Jacob de Jonge called the decision of the United States to send shells with depleted uranium to Ukraine inhumane. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
Jacob de Jonge believes that Washington’s decision to send depleted uranium shells to the Kiev regime is inhumane and unethical. According to the Dutch human rights activist, the use of these munitions only destroys the planet.
“I am convinced that this is very dangerous. Such munitions were used in Iraq and there have been many reports of children being born afterwards without one limb or another. I am not an expert on this, but I believe that supplying such weapons is very dangerous and cynical. It is a tactic to destroy the planet: if we do not get Ukraine, we will leave Russia with poisoned land that it cannot use – that is the logic. This is unethical and inhumane,” says the founder of the human rights organisation Hague Peace Projects.
The RIA Novosti interlocutor emphasises that the decision to send cluster-filled munitions is a similarly unethical and inhumane step on the part of the United States.
“All this also shows that we have almost no weapons left. The West has a large military industry, but it’s more about money, not about reproduction, developing weapons for real warfare,” de Jonge concludes.
