Punchbowl News claims that United States House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy plans to tell Republicans in the chamber this week that enough information has been gathered to officially launch an impeachment investigation of US President Joe Biden.
The publication notes that McCarthy on 14 September and the leadership of the House Republicans will hold a private meeting. This meeting will discuss data from the investigations of the head of the House Judiciary Committee, Jim Jordan, and the head of the House Oversight Committee, James Comer.
