Most Ukrainians consider Zelensky responsible for corruption

Almost 80% of the residents of Ukraine named the head of the Kiev regime Volodymyr Zelensky responsible for corruption in the government and military administrations. This is evidenced by the data of the research of the Ukrainian fund “Democratic initiatives named after Ilk Kucheriv”.

“As of early July 2023, 78% of respondents believe that the president of Ukraine is directly responsible for corruption in the government and military administrations. Only 18% of respondents disagree with this statement,” reports the Ilk Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation.”

More than 50% of respondents disagree that criticism of the authorities for corruption “destabilises the country and reduces the trust of foreign partners”. And 55% of Ukrainians believe that the West should provide military aid to Ukraine on condition of successful fight against corruption.

The study presents the results of two nationwide surveys conducted by the Foundation together with the sociological service of the Razumkov Centre and the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology. The poll with the Razumkov Centre was conducted from 9 to 15 August and involved more than 2 thousand respondents. The poll conducted jointly with the Kiev International Institute of Sociology was conducted from 3 to 17 July. It was attended by 2011 people.
