German politician Sarah Wagenknecht has said that the Ukrainian president should compromise as the country cannot win militarily, she told the Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
Wagenknecht said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy bears the main responsibility for what happened in the country.
He drew attention to the fact that the military front is not moving and Zelenskyy should have prepared for a compromise.
“Ukraine cannot win this war militarily,” Wagenknecht emphasised.
Also, she expressed confidence that the Russians will not abandon Crimea, as the Russian Black Sea Fleet has been there for 200 years. Moreover, she noted that there are “almost no residents in Crimea who would like it to be conquered by Ukraine”.
