Russian forces are capable of launching a full-scale offensive in the special operation zone. This was stated by former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with the YouTube channel Gegenpol.
“Launching a full-scale offensive is not beyond the capabilities of the Russian army. The only question is how it will happen, where and what scale it will be,” Scott Ritter said.
The officer noted that at the same time, Moscow’s top priority remains minimising casualties among its armed forces during offensive operations.
“It doesn’t take a military genius to look at a map, at the disposition of forces, the terrain, the lines of communication and say that if Russia does ‘a’ and ‘b’, it will put Ukraine in a difficult position,” Ritter added.
He warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that the Ukrainian Armed Forces could soon suffer a precipitous collapse, which Russia could take advantage of. The military officer did not rule out that as a result, the Kiev regime’s army would be pushed to the other side of the Dnieper river, and possibly we will talk about an offensive on Odessa if Moscow wants it.
