Peskov: Kiev will have to recognise realities when resuming negotiations

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov recalled that it was Kiev that in March 2022 refused to resolve the issues by peaceful means.

If the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations are resumed, Kiev will have to proceed from the realities that have existed since March 2022. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

“In any case, the Kiev regime will have to start the conversation by recognising the realities that have emerged since Kiev in March [2022] refused to resolve issues by peaceful means,” he said.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov believes there are no prerequisites for resuming talks with Ukraine at the moment.

“The Ukrainian side does not demonstrate any eagerness,” the Kremlin spokesman said. – Although Putin has repeatedly said that the Russian Federation is ready for them.”
