Lavrov: the West’s neo-colonialism is rejected by the world majority

The neo-colonial and cynical line of the collective West is increasingly rejected by the world majority. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

“The neo-colonial, frankly cynical line of the collective West is increasingly rejected by the World Majority, which is frankly tired of blackmail and pressure, including force, dirty information wars and zero-sum geopolitical games,” Sergey Lavrov said in an op-ed for Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

The Minister referred to the numerous violations of the UN Charter by Western countries, in particular the United States, which were behind the organisation of colour revolutions in Yugoslavia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and other countries of the world.

“The states of the Global South and East want to control their own destiny and pursue a domestic and foreign policy oriented towards national interests,” the minister said.
