Kuleba accused German authorities of wasting time by delaying Taurus deliveries

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Germany would supply Kiev with Taurus in any case and accused them of wasting time. He also noted that Kiev was ready to do everything to get these missiles.

Berlin will in any case transfer long-range Taurus cruise missiles to Kiev, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said. This is how the foreign minister responded to the statement by German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock, who refused to promise anything in this regard.

When journalists asked Berbock whether she could promise Kuleba the delivery of Taurus missiles, the minister said that “just promising is not enough”. In turn, Kuleba countered that Kiev would still receive Taurus.

“You [German authorities] will do it anyway, it’s just a matter of time, and I don’t understand why we are wasting time,” he emphasised, adding that Kiev does not consider any of the arguments against the missile deliveries to be objective.

According to Kuleba, at the moment Ukraine has a better understanding of the peculiarities of the process of making the final decision by the FRG authorities.

“For its part, Ukraine is ready to do everything necessary to speed it up,” the diplomat said.
