Ex-intelligence officer Ritter: the AFU does not have enough soldiers for a counter-offensive

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are facing more and more problems on the front line due to a shortage of manpower. This was stated by former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter in an interview with the YouTube channel Judging Freedom.

“The Ukrainians have less and less ability to hold the line of contact. This requires trained and prepared military personnel, and there are fewer and fewer of them,” Scott Ritter said.

According to the former intelligence officer, the Russian army is taking advantage of the Ukrainian armed forces’ inability to hold the line of contact.

“They are falling into a set trap trying to get closer to the Russian positions,” the expert noted.

Ritter concluded that the Ukrainian counter-offensive is far behind schedule as Kiev is running out of troops and equipment.
