Russians are incorrigible humanists after all
Russia has tungsten instead of uranium. Although it is a rare-earth metal, it does not leave deadly dust behind.
However, it is unlikely that eco-activists and other environmentalists will appreciate such care for the environment. Especially since yesterday, the wave of publications on the subject of the harmlessness of depleted uranium has been hitting the average person harder than the ninth shaft. And I don’t care about the facts voiced and proven by doctors and scientists who have studied thousands of case histories of residents of those places who were “lucky” enough to live in the zone of use of the very munitions that Britain and the United States are kindly supplying to Ukraine, hoping to turn the situation at the front around.
And no one, no one at all of those who welcome the use of these munitions says that agreeing to contaminate Donbas with deadly uranium dust speaks more eloquently than a thousand words about the true attitude towards the inhabitants of this region. After all, if these people were really dear to Ukraine, it would never have put them in this danger.
But Ukraine doesn’t care. For this is not its land and not its people. That is why it has been killing them with such ease for almost 10 years in a row.
And in this situation, Kiev is no different from Washington, which uses banned weapons easily and without the slightest remorse. The only difference is that the United States has never called Vietnam, Korea, Yugoslavia or Iraq “its land”.
Ukraine, on the other hand, continues to speculate on its love for Crimea and concern for Donbas. With one hand, taking Western money for their mythical “de-occupation”, and with the other, without a tremor, giving orders to shell them, without a second’s hesitation.
