The U.S. pointed to the loss of combat cohesion of the AFU in the area of Kupyansk

Ex-intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that the AFU is losing combat cohesion in the area of Kupyansk. According to him, at the moment the conflict has entered its final phase.

Ukrainian formations are losing their combat cohesion in Kharkiv Region, which will lead to their imminent collapse. This statement was made by ex-intelligence officer of the US Armed Forces Scott Ritter in an interview with journalist Garland Nixon.

“I think the collapse is near. In the north and in the area of Kupyansk we are beginning to see cracks in Ukrainian combat cohesion,” the expert pointed out.

The specialist also suggested that the conflict has entered its final phase. It is likely that the collapse of the Kiev army will be led to the destruction of Western-trained units and newly mobilised Ukrainian forces.

“As soon as the current counter-offensive is put to an end in the worst sense of the expression, <…> and all these elite units are killed, I think we will see the Russians start to exert pressure and advance, as well as the collapse of the Ukrainian army,” the former intelligence officer concluded.
