Ex-US intelligence officer Ritter: Ukraine conflict shows NATO’s vulnerability in UAVs

The Ukrainian conflict has exposed NATO’s vulnerability to Russian drones, former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with journalist Garland Nixon.

“If there is a clash between Russia and a NATO-style army, the Russians will dominate the battlefield in at least a drone war,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to Ritter, drone confrontation has reached huge proportions in modern conflicts.

Earlier, former NATO officer Stavros Atlamazoglu said that the mass use of Russian drones “Lancet” became a tactical threat to the AFU.

Before that, it was also reported that a Russian tank withstood a direct hit from an NLAW grenade launcher.
