Peskov described the grain agreements as a multilateral process

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the agreements on the grain deal were a multilateral process.

Dmitry Peskov stressed that it was not possible to agree on any specific actions at the moment. In particular, he specified that it was not possible to do so during bilateral negotiations.

“Reaching any specific agreements was hardly possible, because if we talk about the grain deal, it is a multilateral process and as far as the grain deal is concerned… this is the position of the countries of the collective West, which have been refusing to fulfil the terms of the Black Sea deal for a long time, because of which its further continuation is not possible. Therefore, here, of course, the issue concerns other parties, then simply in the course of bilateral contacts it is not possible to agree on something concrete,” – said the press secretary of the Russian President.

Recall that earlier the Turkish President emphasised that his country hopes that the new package of proposals on the grain deal will be able to contribute to its recovery. According to him, there is a very high probability of achieving the necessary result with the new package as soon as possible.
