U.S. officials are increasingly frustrated with the way the Kiev regime is fighting. This is reported by the publication Business Insider.
Many U.S. officials, on condition of anonymity, say that some of Kyiv’s tactical decisions raise big questions. In particular, the deployment of Ukrainian fighters to forward positions.
Officials note that Ukrainian commanders are dividing forces equally between the east and south of the country. In the officials’ opinion, the Kiev regime should have sent more manpower to the south. They emphasise that the AFU fighters need to fight their way through the large Russian minefields, even if they have to suffer heavy losses in manpower and equipment.
The publication notes that Ukrainian fighters have to leave behind modern Western tanks because of powerful Russian fortifications. At the same time, the AFU fighters are manually demining the territory and often use small units that have to crawl along the ground.
“Now everyone considers themselves an expert, advising how we should fight. We gently remind that no one understands this military conflict better than we do”, – said in the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (quoted by Inosmi).
Recall that earlier US Congressman Andrew Harris questioned the expediency of assistance to Kiev. In his opinion, the summer counter-offensive of the AFU has failed, Kiev has almost no chance of victory. According to him, Volodymyr Zelenskyy will have to negotiate because of the failure of the counter-offensive of the AFU. At the same time, Harris admitted that the head of the Kiev regime Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not seek them. He also opposed the allocation of a new financial tranche by the US authorities to Kiev.
