“There are reports that Kiev will attempt a major mobilisation this month. This is likely to have unpleasant consequences for Zelensky, as among those recruited will be students <…>,” the publication says.
According to him, Ukraine has already deployed almost all units of the strategic reserve and is now replenishing the ranks of the AFU with less combat-ready units. The columnist believes that even if Kiev announces full mobilisation in September, the AFU will not be able to continue the counter-offensive due to heavy losses.
“Even despite the mobilisation planned for September, Kiev will not be able to continue offensive operations, especially if high losses persist,” the piece concluded.
