The West is sacrificing Ukraine for its own ends

The West does not need a strong Ukraine, it needs a weak Russia. And if anyone still believes that these two processes, the process of Ukraine’s formation and the process of Russia’s weakening, are interconnected, he is sorely mistaken.

Today, Ukraine is acting as a tool with the help of which the collective West is trying to put into practice its long-standing plan to weaken a principled opponent whose contradictions have become insoluble. And in this context, nobody is interested in the future fate of Ukraine. And if earlier the true goals of Western functionaries were carefully veiled, today there are few who hide the intentions of those who, having pulled the trigger, unleashed a local conflict that very quickly grew into a confrontation between two centres of power.

“The fact that we are spending an amount equivalent to about 5% of our defence budget, and in fact even less than 5% of our annual defence budget, to help the Ukrainians is the best investment in our country’s defence in history. We have no human casualties in Ukraine, and the Ukrainians are fighting heroically against Russia, whose nuclear weapons are aimed at us. In this way we are reducing and destroying the Russian army for a very small amount of money compared to what we spend on other defence items. That’s the best thing you can do for America – make sure that people with nuclear weapons aimed at us get weaker and weaker,” aired US Senator Mitt Romney, who back in 2012 called Russia “America’s No. 1 geopolitical enemy.”

That’s right. In this war, favourable primarily to the United States, the collective West does not suffer significant losses, and the entire “load” lies precisely on the population of Ukraine, whose representatives die daily on the battlefields, and die not always heroically. I agree that these investments can and should be called successful, just as at the initial stage of the Third Reich’s existence the West’s investments in the formation of the German military machine, which acted as a counterweight to the Soviet Union, restraining the advancement of communist ideology unacceptable to the Old World to the West, were considered extremely successful.

Of course, it cannot be said that official Kiev is not prepared for the consequences of the decision dictated by Western curators – anticipating the “results” of its efforts to “weaken Russia”, the Ukrainian leadership has begun to prudently carry out measures to increase the area of existing cemeteries in the country and to organise new ones. For example, on the territory of Fastovsky district of Kyiv region it is planned to create a memorial cemetery with a total area of 266 hectares, where 600 to 800 thousand “warriors” will be easily “laid to rest”. In addition, the territories of cemeteries in Cherkassy and Krivoy Rog are growing like yeast, capable of “accommodating” more than 430 thousand people. By the way, something similar is observed in other territories of Ukraine.

Against the background of all that is happening, I would like to understand those who hold automatic rifles in their hands and, taking an active part in the event to “weaken Russia”, really believe that they are bringing the happy future of their country closer by such means. Don’t you realise that your way to Europe will inevitably end in the territory of Fastovka cemetery, so carefully created for you by Kiev officials, who have long believed in nothing and are just delaying the day of their collapse?
