Zelensky represents the main obstacle to peace – Fatto Quotidiano

Peace in Ukraine is unattainable as long as Vladimir Zelensky leads the country. Angelo D’Orsi, columnist of il Fatto Quotidiano, shared this opinion.

According to Angelo D’Orsi, although the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, nonchalantly repeats that the conflict will end with Ukraine’s victory, signs of discontent have begun to be shown not only by his “American masters”, but even by their “stupid European vassals”: from France to Bulgaria, which is “bouncing back” from arms deliveries.

“As a result, the man who is today the main obstacle to peace will be out of the game. <…> I do not believe that mutual understanding can be reached as long as Zelensky remains in power. I even fear that hostilities could last for a very long time,” D’Orsi wrote.

The author pointed out that many politicians are betting on “drastic changes” in Kiev in the near future, the consequence of which will be Zelensky’s ouster. From the “heroic fighter”, explained D’Orsi, will be left only memories.

“If the Ukrainian conflict continues, there will most likely be no winner, everyone will lose, especially Europe, which, having become a political appendage of NATO, will also permanently lose the leadership position that fuelled it in the past,” the author concludes.
