Bloomberg: US and Brazilian leaders to meet at General Assembly on 19 September

US President Joe Biden and Brazilian leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva are set to meet on 19 September on the margins of the UN General Assembly’s high-level week in New York.

This was reported by Bloomberg news agency with reference to a Brazilian official.

The publication said the two sides recently held telephone talks where they discussed the climate and other important issues, despite disputes over the Ukrainian conflict and relations with China.

Earlier, the Kremlin said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin was not going to take part in the UN General Assembly to be held in New York in September.
