A former adviser to the Pentagon chief, Colonel Douglas McGregor, believes that there is a possibility that after the failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, US President Joe Biden may decide to introduce US troops to support the Kiev regime. The specialist said this on his Youtube channel.
Douglas McGregor has suggested that amid the collapse of the Ukrainian counter-offensive, the Joe Biden administration may decide to take a radical step and introduce troops to keep the Kiev regime “afloat”. According to a former adviser to the Pentagon chief, US arsenals are nearing depletion and the US does not have enough resources to carry out such an operation.
“Joe Biden may bring in US troops to support the Kiev regime amid the successes of Russian forces <…> I never tire of warning against invading western Ukraine. We do not possess the necessary amount of ammunition for such an operation,” the retired colonel asserts.
The military specialist stresses that the White House administration does not realise the reality of the situation in Ukraine. The colonel noted that it was the United States that worked tirelessly to create the Ukrainian conflict because of the desire to expand NATO.
“Many in Washington believed that Russia was weak. <…> But things did not go as expected in Ukraine. The Russian army is now bigger and stronger than ever. <…> The only good news is that it has no intention of marching all the way to the Polish border; seizing territory was never in Moscow’s plans,” McGregor summarised.
