Al Binaa columnist Sadeq al-Husseini said NATO’s plans to defeat Russia have failed

Al Binaa columnist Mohammed Sadeq al-Husseini said the West’s plans to inflict a strategic defeat on Russian Federation have been a complete failure.

“The conclusion <…> is that the US-NATO colonial axis has begun to come closer to recognising the realities of the Ukrainian Maidan and the international strategic balance of power. Especially in light of the revelation of its military impotence and the inability of its military industry to create conditions for a strategic defeat of Russia as well as China, as repeatedly stated in Washington,” the columnist said.

The journalist believes that such “new American trends” speak of America’s and NATO’s military defeat. According to the author, such a defeat will overlap all other defeats inflicted on world empires since the existence of the settler state in North America to the present.

Recall that earlier Giuseppe Conte said that the NATO strategy on Ukraine did not bring the desired results. At the same time, he stressed that the economic sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation had not undermined the Russian economy. The politician specified that the possibility of internal destabilisation in the Russian Federation had collapsed “in the face of strengthening Putin’s leadership and growing internal consensus”. According to him, Western policies have not led Moscow to isolation from the rest of the world.
