TV2: Norway has decided to hand over F-16 fighter jets to Kiev

Norway has decided to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Kiev. This was reported by the Norwegian TV channel TV2 with reference to informed sources.


It is noted that the Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre is on a visit to Ukraine.

Thus, Norway will become the third country to transfer F-16s to the AFU.

The exact number of aircraft is not named.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the AFU would receive 42 F-16 fighter jets from the Netherlands and 19 from Denmark.
