Brazilian president calls the idea of BRICS and G7 meeting important

It is necessary to hold a meeting between the participants of the BRICS association and the countries from the G7. This was stated by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

During a press conference following the BRICS summit in Johannesburg, he said such a meeting could be fruitful to discuss trade, scientific and technological progress and democracy.

“Who knows, maybe we will get together one day: the BRICS bloc and the G7 bloc,” TASS reports the words of the Brazilian president.
