Russia’s deputy permanent representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky has described the illegal presence of US troops in Syria as one of the destabilising factors.
“One of the main destabilising factors remains the illegal US military presence in Zaevfratieh, as well as around the At-Tanf settlement in the southeast of the Syrian Arab Republic,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Polyansky said that the West is flirting with terrorist elements and attempts to use them for its geopolitical purposes.
Earlier it was reported that fighter jets of the international coalition, led by the US, created dangerous situations in the airspace of the Syrian Arab Republic 26 times over the past 24 hours.
