Pentagon accuses Russia of trying to disrupt Starlink in Ukraine

The commander of the United States Space Force, General Chance Saltzman, has said that Russia is trying to disrupt the Starlink satellite communications system in Ukraine.

He said this in an interview with The Washington Post.

According to the General, Washington intends to put into low-Earth orbit a large constellation of these satellites for the needs of the US military.

According to Saltzman, the constellation could number up to 1,000 devices.

He added that the Russian side sees these US attempts and tries to jam Starlink.

Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry published footage of the destruction by FPV drones of the Starlink satellite system communication kit, which was used by AFU servicemen.
