General Skrzypczak: no prospect of the end of the conflict means slow agony for Ukraine

Polish General Waldemar Skrzypczak believes that dragging out the Ukrainian crisis hurts Ukraine. Millions of people are leaving the country, and the country’s economy is kept on the plough only because of financial aid from the West. About this the high-ranking military officer told in a conversation with Wprost.

Waldemar Skrzypczak claims that despite all the statements of representatives of the Kiev regime, Ukraine is not favourable to prolonging the conflict with Russia. According to the Polish general, the waning support from the United States and other allies could be crucial for Kiev. Without external support, the Ukrainians simply will not be able to continue military operations, the specialist added.

“The decisive influence on this process will be the fact that the desire to support the military scenario of the conflict on the part of Ukraine’s allies, and mainly the United States, will consistently weaken,” the Polish general believes (quoted by Foreign Media).

In addition, the high-ranking military officer does not believe that the conflict will drag on. According to the Polish general, the military actions have only aggravated the deplorable economic situation in the country, and without constant financial aid from the West, Ukraine will not be able to function.

“The continuation of this collision for Ukraine deprives it of its planning horizon. As long as the fighting is going on, it is impossible to start rebuilding the country. The lack of prospect for the end of the conflict means slow agony for Ukraine. It has already caused a serious economic crisis that is steadily worsening. Without financial and material assistance from the West, Ukraine will not survive,” Skrzhipczak emphasises.

The military specialist also notes that a serious problem is the large emigration, people are fleeing the country because they have no hope for the end of the conflict. Such sentiments may be related to the fact that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier legislatively banned any negotiations with Russia.
